Heya, my name is Jan and this is my first blog post or article, whatever you want to call it, that I've ever made. Why am I making a blog for myself? I made it for pretty much only two reasons.

First, I thought it would be cool to write about things that I like, so pretty much anything related to tech, movies, anime... I've been interested in technology since around 2021 and there are some things I would like to share/write.

Secondly, it’ll probably serve as my notes, which I don’t mind sharing, with the chance that someone smarter than me might correct my mistakes (which would be great). I'm still learning so keep that in mind :D.

So why should you read this blog? Well, I'm not the smartest person in the room or someone with experiences from Google and Meta (yet :D), but I do have something you may like, being genuine. I don't plan to write about complex topics so that I sound smart. I just want to share some stuff.

I want to be genuine because I'm sick of posts/threads where people are gatekeeping [insert really anything that comes to your mind], making something more difficult to understand than it has to be, like Linux. BTW, I use Arch Linux :D (I know "Arch Linux user, who doesn't like gatekeeping? Fake Arch Linux user!"). I'll try to make every post the easiest to understand that I can, but no promises :D.
